And That's the worst of all
That Mary Hamilton has born a babe
To the highest Stuart of all
 

사람들의 입에서 입으로 소문은 퍼져나갔고
마침내는 여왕의 귀까지 들려지게 되었죠
그건 최악의 상황이었어요
그 소문은 메리 해밀턴이

스튜어트왕가의 아들을 낳았다는 것이었어요

나는 검정 예복을 입지도 않았고

그리고 내가 결혼식을 보려고

만나는 사람들마다 탄식하며 말했어요

어젯밤까지는 4명의 메리가 있었는데
오늘밤엔 3명만 남게 되겠죠
그 4명의 메리는 비이튼 씨이튼
카마이클 그리고 바로 나 였었어요
